(English version below) Comme vous le savez, avec les Professeurs Gérard Saillant et Stéphanie Debette, nous avons souhaité être plus ambitieux dans l’emploi des dons faits à la recherche sur la SLA. Nous avons imaginé une vraie alliance intégrée entre chercheurs européens : CURE-ND4ALS.
Mission Lucidity (Belgique), DZNE (Allemagne), UK Dementia Research Institute (Royaume-Uni) ont été très enthousiastes et travaillent avec nous depuis le début de l’année sur le sujet. Je suis bluffé par les synergies déjà mises en place.
Aujourd’hui nous vous partageons un document unique qui explique tout : but, mission, priorités, financement, évaluation, appel à candidatures.
N’hésitez à le faire circuler à des équipes de recherche internationale qui souhaiteraient rejoindre l’alliance, nous lançons notre premier appel à candidatures ! C’est une révolution dans la manière de collaborer.

🧠 The European CURE-ND alliance is proud to announce the launch of the CURE-ND4ALS initiative—a bold new European commissioned research program designed to accelerate the discovery of treatments and biomarkers for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Powered by the Olivier Goy European ALS Philanthropic Fund and hosted by Paris Brain Institute, this Initiative will support one major, collaborative, interdisciplinary project uniting leading teams across Europe, coordinated by the CURE-ND partners. The CURE-ND4ALS intiative was refined following a brainstorm held in Paris on the 20th of May 2025 to shape its scientific scope. Partners within or outside the CURE-ND alliance interested in engaging with this initiative are kindly invited to contact the CURE-ND coordinating team by August 29th.
🎯 The goal is to build a patient-centered, integrated scientific strategy that leverages cutting-edge technologies and clinical cohorts to deliver high-impact translational outcomes.
